I will be participating again this year in Berkeley Open Studios, a free self-guided tour of 100 artists and craftspeople who open their workshops and galleries to the public.

Shadows contain a lot of information. Studying them helps to see their particular color and how they influence the subject. In this case, I was most fascinated by the violet.
